Guillaume Apollinaire 1880 – 1918

Wilhelm Albert W?odzimierz Apolinary Kostrowicki, known as Guillaume Apollinaire 1880 – 1918 was a French poet, writer and art critic born in Italy to a Polish mother.

Guillaume Apollinaire introduced his friend Pablo Picasso to a homeopathKer Xavier Roussel (whose father and brother were homeopaths), and Apollinaire was also a friend of Henri Matisse, Eric Alfred Leslie Satie, and Gertrude Stein.

Born Wilhelm Albert W?odzimierz Apolinary Kostrowicki and raised speaking French, among other languages, he emigrated to France and adopted the name Guillaume Apollinaire.
