Marcus Simaika Pasha (1864-1944) Marcus Simaika Pasha (1864-1944) was the Founder of the Coptic Museum in Cairo.

Marcus Simaika Pasha was a friend of James John Garth Wilkinson and is listed  in both of his address books at ‘Cairo’ (Swedenborg Archive Address Book of James John Garth Wilkinson dated 1895. See also Swedenborg Archive A183r Address Book of James John Garth Wilkinson ‘Where is it’ dated 1.10.1892). James John Garth Wilkinson was a member of the Egypt Exploration Society in 1883-1888, and his daughter Florence Blakiston Attwood Mathews was a frequent visitor to Egypt and a friend of Archibald Henry Sayce and  William Matthew Flinders Petrie (Swedenborg Archive K125 [15] letter dated 3.12.1892 from Garth Wilkinson to John Thomson.
