**James Eustace Radclyffe McDonagh **1881 - 1965 FRCS London, was a British orthodox physician who was sympathetic to homeopathy.

James MacDonagh said ”If a treatment benefits a patient, it is worthy of application whether the basis be scientific or not…” MacDonagh believed, alongside the homeopaths, that resistance to disease is a reaction of the body cells, and that drugs act on that defense mechanism and not on microorganisms

In England Dr. James Eustace Radclyffe McDonagh, whose studies are gradually becoming known in the U. S., is using colloid chemistry, including the physicochemical action of the electrical charges on colloid particles.
