Freemont Hamilton (1857-?)

Freemont Hamilton (1857-?) was an American homeopathic physician who trained at the New York Homeopathic College in 1882. Freemont Hamilton practiced in Rutland in Vermont until 1893, when he relocated to Brattleboro in Vermont. He was President of the Vermont Medical Homeopathic Society, member of the Vermont State Medical Society, and the American Institute of Homeopathy, a member of the Columbia Lodge Free and Accepted Masons, a member of the Davenport Chapter of Royal Arch Masons, a member of the Brattleboro Commandery Knights Templar, and a member of the Patrons of Husbandry.

Freemont Hamilton was a Republican and the proprietor of the Crystal Springs Ice Company. He married in 1884 to Carrie L Buttolph, herself a member of the Patrons of Husbandry, and of the Order of the Eastern Star, she was the owner and manager of the ice business of Brattleboro and the owner of the Richardson Farm.
